Genre: Bluegrass / Playing Style: Bluegrass (Scruggs)
I always thought this song would sound good as bluegrass. I did all the parts so I'll take the blame if it doesn't. I used an Ashbory bass, Kentucky mandolin and my 93 Scruggs with one of xnavyguy's Hybridge Spillway dam bridges.

Hello Roll Player - Just listened to 'Big City' on the BHO and it was great. I am 61 and absolutely deplore today's so-called 'country music.' You are right in that a lot of real country music works good in the bluegrass format and you proved and nailed it with this effort. Good job with the playing and mixing.

Hey, thanks Bobby and Edward for taking the time to comment!
A lot of music today seems to be stuck in a formula. It seems the suits that control so much like a shortcut to success, but there's no such thing, imo. Music comes from deep within, and the formulas are just so much bs. There are no shortcuts.
