Now here's one you don't hear every day. I learned this from Lou Martin, a clarinet player in Seattle while I was playing on the streets with the Dynamic Logs. Seems like a hundred years ago. Of course I know that "The Bird" was what Charlie Parker (legendary, style setting icon of the saxophone) was called. Charlie "Bird" Parker. The question is....and I don't know the answer...did he write this song or did someone write it about him. Let me know what you think. Mark
