Very nice, Brad! Aside from "cleanly" hitting the "correct notes," you're NOT giving into speed! Speed comes with time. Based on this one sampling, I can assure you, in NO time you will be a fine clawhammer player!

Brad, I like your banjos sound. I have an E. Dobson on order and after reading the poston dobson tone rings I am having 2nd thoughts, but your dobson sounds just fine. James

Thanks James. Don't have second thoughts. If you like the sounds you have heard, you will like your banjo. The Enoch (is that what you meant by "E. Dobson"?) Dobsons are very similar in construction to mine. Enjoy it.

It's now the second year and it would be great to hear the progress. Nice pace. I have to remind myself to slowly increase speed and make sure the notes ring clear. Tell me more about the Sunday Jams in Kent, Ohio.
