This is a South American tune written by Rafael Hernandez and was the background music featured everytime Carmin Miranda danced on stage with a fruit hat. Of course this is a latin music standard, but I first heard it played on the banjo when Jim and Jessie and the Virginians banjo player Allen Shelton played it many years ago.
