Hey johm, usually dont like clawhammer since i think in my mind alots of it is so repetetive in nature but you are a good player and ive to give it to ya the 3 irish polkas was outstanding , how do you do that any way , do you use picks ?? i guess it in the rhythm of the rt hand heh??? very good pickin JOhn all the beat dan

Interesting how much the first tune resemble Ste. Anne's Reel...at least to my ears...but with different rhythmic emphasis.

I'm not really into CH for Irish tunes either - but you did a good job (on tunes that I play melodically on 5 string myself). I also tested Marc's idea - played Dennis Murphy's Polka on banjo whilst playing an MP3 of St Anne's Reel - they work quite well together.
