Ever since I heard this tune for the first time, I've wanted to learn to play it. It finally showed up in my lessons this month and I've (almost) learned it. This is my Aria in which I've installed a modified Helix (tm) rim that I made out of Douglas Fir. I don't think it's up to speed but it's my best effort right now, given my skill level and fear of microphones.

Another bluegrass picker goes over to the melodic dark side! Nice job, Jerry. I used to have the original 45rpm of Monroe with Bill Keith, but I lost it. They went a mile a minute, much faster than it would normally be played. It's basically a contra dance tune, and should be picked between 105 bpm and 120 bpm, assuming 2/4 time.
