Shooting Stars

Shooting stars in the sky
On a warm summer’s evening
Your eyes lit up by the moon

We can’t look away
For even a moment
The light will streak by us too soon

And Orion and I are hunting the sky
While Venus plays with my heart
The light flashes by, I look in your eyes
While stars find love in the dark

Summer breeze blows the trees
On this warm summer’s evening
I’m out here with you by my side

And the twinkling star light
It gives me a reason
To be out star gazing tonight

The Milky Way’s bright
On this warm summer’s evening
Shooting star bursts into view

And I realize
I am more than believing
I’ve fallen in love with you

You're good.  Darn, all your songs are so distinct from eachother but all have your trademark sound.  Again, your instrumentation and writing/vocals impress.  Good job, Greg.

Greg, I am so pleased to hear this months addition, I am seeing a real thead here from the" Resolution" forward. If you would consider Putting out an Album (12 tunes ) I would love to play your stuff on my stereo and in my car  player as I like BHO and am not connecting to formula radio. Well that might be a hassel , but I  bet I am not the only one............Steve

What a great tune! Those are hit lyrics, my friend. And an excllent recording too. I wish you'd post about your recording setup for the benefit of BHOers. You get a cleanness and presence that eludes me in my own efforts. It really shows in this one.

This is also one of my favorites of your songs. Really nice. The playing (all instruments), singing and the mix were superbly done. Looking forward to more. I'd like to make a CD for personal listening also as Steve said.
