Josiah, you're getting a good clear tone out of that banjo, and the melody of both tunes comes out fine, so you are off to a good start. The thing you need to work on now is your roll. You need to concentrate hard on getting those roll patterns real smooth and even, so that when you play you will be able to hear each new note separate and distinct from the last. The ONLY way to do that is to slow it way down, and work with some kind of time regulating device, like a metronome, or a drum machine, whatever. Believe it or not, the only way to play both fast and even is to first play a whole lot slow and even. I wish you all the best.
