Now this is what I call a good picking and sound! I like your strong slides and pulloffs. I also use the zoom device for all my stuff.

Yep, I think he's got something going on for sure.  I think he's got something going on with how he builds the whole banjo as well.

Nice pickin' bow- tie.  That banjo really has great tone.  I am considering the RS Mahogany model for myself.  Warren really has done a nice job with these banjos.

Thanks Curtis!  I had a lot of pick noise in there.....never had pick noise before, was wondering if i was getting lazy with my right hand.  Turns out it was the actuall pic.  So i've switched back to plastic.

Is that the Acri thumbpick? I though it would do good for my dobro pickin' , but it turns out with plastic I speed up easely. Post some more!!

Hey Lexintrick, it turns out where the blade (the real thing) was added to the pick had come loose and was snapping back making that noise.  A little super glue took care of it.  I haven't recorded anything a while, but as soon as I do, I'll throw it on here...thanks!

I hope some day that I can play like you. I should receive my yates RS this week and will need to practice a long time to get it to sound as good. Great job and great sounding banjo.
