A, fiddle is tuned to Tommy Jarrell's Drunken Hiccups tuning, banjo strings 1 - 4 same notes as fiddle, banjo 5th string same as 1st.

Drunken Hiccups tuning- there is a concept that will need explaining to the uninitiated. I always thought of this tune as old-timey programmatic music, you can just see the inebriated stumbling down the path. That low, deep banjo tone really adds to the veracity of the whole sound. Really nice playing.
