I recently bought myself a cheap guitjo, out of curiosity. Now I am trying it out with some of the tunes I already play on the guitar.

That was a nice use of a guitjo, Jesper! Thanks for posting your guitjo versions of tunes that you know. They are fun to listen to. You have me thinking that I should get a guitjo for myself. The list of instruments that I want and can't yet afford to buy is getting longer and longer... :(

Thank you Michael. I can assure you they are equally fun to play. I got the idea a couple of months ago, that it might be fun to try, so I bought a cheap chinese build banjo guitar. About 250$ including a hard case. That's not bad. But when I got it, the action was way too high, I tried to do something about it, but it was a disaster, so i took it to my luthier who kept it for a looong time, but now I got it last week and it is acceptable to play now. Not the best guitjo in the world. But it's playable. A friend on facebook, Ben Richards, makes a radio show from Chicago, and asked if he could play Stone's Rag. And off cause he could. He wrote today that he played it in between a Doc Watson tune and a David Holt tune. I am deeply honored. Isn't the internet a fantastic invention? :-)
