Hey, that cheered me WAY up  - to the ninth fret, no less!

Say, one man's G# is another man's Ab (my shorthand for A-flat).  Capoed at the 9th with the 5th assumed open, the strings would have been at Ab-Ab-Eb-Ab-Bb.  What a great tuning for annoying fiddlers and other banjo players!

This has an eerie Iberian sound to it, like it might have been played by a Brigadista from the Spanish Civil War.  Really neat.

Very cool tune, we share some common musical interests, being of course The Shaggs and Penguin Cafe Orchestra.
