This is a newer version. I think this really came out good. A band in the making. This is "From out of the Desert". The players are Rick Seligman, fiddle. John Lundmark, guitar. Tim Howe, bass and me. John is singing lead and me on harmony.

This is just great. Terrific, subtle banjo picking. I hope you won't be put off if I say the whole sound is wonderfully reminiscent of the original Seldom Scene, with Duffy, Eldridge, and Starling. Okay, fiddle instead of dobro. It's got that same rich, reverberating sound, lots of deep guitar, serious grown-up vocal, and graceful, elegant banjo. Really fine job.

I remember playing this song with John. 'Sounds good. I know that the "Ricky Skaggs Ancient Tones" CD is one of John's favorites.
Great Sound!
