Yep....curly maple, tiger maple, tiger stripe, etc. Does your banjo have maple like this or does it have little circle figure marks (birdseye)?

Other than the pot, the bulk of the wood is fairly featureless; might be some cherry in there. The "pot" is what I call birdseye maple; little circle figures that resemble little eyes.

Oh ok. The curly maple on mine was an upgrade/special request. He milled the wood from two different trees on his property.
