Is that the original color? Most Fords I've seen were gray or gray and blue.

The original color was red everywhere except for gray/white on the fenders, grill, and wheels. They only did it that way from 1957-1962... they call it the 601 Workmaster series. The red/gray ones (aka redbelly) came before 1957, and the blue ones came after 1962.
The hood on mine was missing, so I bought a replacement off of ebay, which is what you see in this picture. I have since painted it red to match the rest of the tractor.

Hey Matt. We live out here in farm country in western Oregon. I see so many old tractors around here, I wish I had the money to buy some of 'em. I love the old tractors and in my shop, I have old John Deere calendars gracing the walls with pics of the vintage tractors.
