From the U.S. WWI roundels and my old plastic model kits, I'm guessing that's a Nieuport. Feel free to correct me, and to specify which model/number. Where was the photo taken?

This was taken at "Movieland Museum Of The Air" http://www.aerovintage.com/movieland.htm around 1964. I believe it is a Nieuport 28, but with some alterations (steel struts, etc.). If you go to the website, you can see the same A/C in the 2nd picture down.
