Alan Jabbour came to Bryson City for our Heritage Fest to sell his "Decoration Day" book. Lucky me, he wanted to play tunes with a banjo picker.

That's my dobson 12" in the photo. My new banjo (the fretless with internal resonator) was completed the next day!
Alan,
He was very kind, genorous and patient with me. Luckily, the first four songs he threw at me I knew - including "Over the Waterfall," a favorite of yours.
