Hey, I wanted to do this style of head tension for my les paul electric banjo. What did you use for your hoop? I had mine custom made. Also I see you were able to get the acoustic EQ on the side. Mine was 3/16" too wide....
Yours is the only other one I've seen so far.

I've never worked with electric guitars before. Are you using the acoustic pickup and the Tele pickup at the same time or do you just use a switch that chooses one or the other? I was planning on blending the two, but with the acoustic Pickup installed and all of the output wires going to the output plug, my humbucker pickup doesn't work. Do I need a diode or something soldered in there? Thanks.

i use a Meinl Tanborim they are cheap and ready availalbe over here should be for you they are quality parts Remo also do a tamborim (latin drum ) but more expensive and have fixed adjuster posts,

i have only the acoustic pickup running at the moment but will blend the two, my tele is 2" wide so just fitted but a very deep hole to take out without ripping the side out.
