My Morgan Monroe Cascade These pics dont do it justice!

Kevin, I have an MGB-2 Morgan Monroe and it is a real nice banjo to play and to look at. I took the original clamshell tailpiece off and put on a Presto. I also put on a Snuffy bridge and a set of GHS light strings {try a set of those they are nice] One of the frets was high when I got it , my set up man took care of that real quick. Many people are down on the Morgans for what ever reason, but one thing I've noticed hear on the Hangout is that people that own and play one love em. Keep pick'n . Joe

This is all the banjo you will ever need, but if you're completely addicted, plan on getting another sooner or later. It almost always happens! The addiction really kicks in after you buy # 2. regards, Stanger

Checking in after reading the snobbish thread knocking the Morgan Monroe line on the forum. I am a fellow Cascade owner and I am crazy about mine. As I said on the forum, I also own two Stellings and my original Hondo II. I only wish I had the Morgan Monroe when I started out as it is head and shoulders above the Hondo in fit, finish and playability. The tone is excellent, and I really enjoy playing it. It stays in a banjo stand in my bedroom upstairs, so it is readilly accessible and gets played before I turn in for the night. Having it out on the stand also lets me enjoy the beautiful finish on this fine banjo. The only other testimonial I can add, is that it is NOT for sale! My wife thinks I have too many banjos and I should reduce my inventory, but I couldn't part with it. Us Morgan Monroe guys have to stick together it appears! Keep pickin, and keep enjoying.
