Rick,
My dad's '46 Taylorcraft was registered one day before he was. That Chief is one nice flying plane. Comfy to sit in. Way better than a J-3.

What a fine aircraft! I remember helping my Uncle and my Dad extract the skeleton of an Aeronca Champ from a barn one Saturday. My Uncle transformed those bare bones into one beautiful plane.
