Ben Greene appeared at SPBGMA yesterday---Excellent banjo and vocal support by a real pro. If BNL hasn't had him on its cover, now is the time. He is a sideman in the best sense of the word: He makes Carolina Road (already a top group) a stronger, better, more musical band. And he has my vote for SPBGMA banjo player of the year. Keep on pickin', Ben.

I watched Ben play banjo at the HOPE CAFE in Garner, NC last week. He did a GREAT job playing and adding back up vocals. Watching him effortlessly pick was a great experience.
