I'm testing a theory that the ideal rim to aperture profile for a Mastertone style banjo should be something like this.

Hi Jerry,
I'd like to compare notes on the aperture for different banjos. I've got 3/8 " for a 2 piece flange Mastertone style banjo that Roger Siminoff built for me in the mid 70s.
