Very pretty peghead shape, Mike! The lettering is very graceful, and very fitting 'in the tradtion' too!
The key inlay doesn't read all that well to me, though, in it's placement and size. Have you experimented with different ways to place the inlay? I like the inlay design itself all right, but it looks too big and crowded on the peghead to me.
I hope you don't take offense- that's my designer's eye being all picky, and I'm only trying to help.

No offense taken at all. As a matter of fact I agree with you. I'm a CAD guy and not a designer. I just wanted something for a future banjo with my granddaughter's name on it.
I can't even claim the peghead shape. I got that here on the hangout from a shop teacher in Ohio. (I think it was)
I'll shrink it some and reload it.
