I used 60lb fishing line for the strings following the advice of a couple of members of the Hangout, and knotted the strings in what I umderstand is the traditional manner using information from Paul Sedgwick. This is the second set of strings having improved my wrapping technique and the tuning is now quite easy and remarkably stable.
