I don't know what ELSE to call it. The 2nd string rides on a thin strip of metal, so it'll slide more easily when the rod is moved. The rod has a hole in it, with just an ordinary little nail glued in, to hang the string on.Same little linoleum nail as the other 4, visible next to the slot.
