One-Handed banjo

Posted 7/25/2009 9:47:46 AM

To be played on the lap, by pressing a bar across the frets. A foot pedal drops the B string to make it a minor. SQUARE neck. Should maybe warp NEVER, as it's massive. Also, less likely to roll away. PLANNING to mount 3 removeable legs on it, maybe, so it can rest on the floor like a pedal steel.

Maybe it does play ok, but it looks like a fancy fence post, look real good around the garden, and an over the fence chatting topic eh! say did you ever see the one armed fiddler on utube, he's real good...

Well you sure are a clever rascal.  We already knew you were a rascal, so it's nice to know that you are clever too.  Now we all would like to know what you are going to do with the other free hand - hold a harmonica or pluck a harp guitar?

It's an experimental design for someone who might not have enough fingers on one hand to form chords. One of my friends was born without a hand.

Easy enough to make it left or right-handed.

And being square, like a fence post, makes it quicker, therefore cheaper, to make.

i swear, someday you're going to make millions!! (better make it quick, you're old, so most of you're days are gone!!)

The main reason to make millions, is so that one may purchase whatever toys one believes will enable one to feel happiness. Since I already feel quite a bit of happiness, I see no reason to pursue millions. (By the way: wouldn't someone like Donald Trump be able to afford a decent wig, or a nice hat?)

I don't know if I'd like to make millions off the stumps of our nation's amputees.

And thanks for reminding me that I'm damned near dead already.

(SEE how EASY it is to have your most innocent efforts misunderstood?? That's why I wouldn't be 14 again if they PAID me!)
