This banjo rivals anything on the market today Just my preference, but I think the nicest looking banjos are made out of walnut(mighty profound statement coming from a man who plays a maple Granada). The concentric rings are a nice touch. With skills like these as a part time luthier, you must be one heck of a surgeon. God Bless,
