My arrangement of 'Miss McLeod's Reel' owes a lot to the traditional Sligo-style fiddle playing of Michael Coleman (1889-1945), which I learned from Irish fiddle maestro Tony DeMarco, back when we used to play together in NYC as Reel Hoss - just fiddle and banjo. Tony showed me tons of tunes when I was getting started.
