Yep, the Great Honkin Goose. I was scared to open the case thinking I'd find nothing but splinters. But it was just fine. I ran over the case right where that compartment is and I guess it provided enough support. It was out of tune though.

I would contact Mr. Deering and complain... If He can't build a banjo that can stay in tune after being ran over...... Glad the Goose is ok it's a keeper.

[:D] Yeah he should be ashamed to put his name on this piece of junk.
Actually I should write a letter the makers of the banjo case.
The amazing thing about this photo that I didn't even realize till after our guitar player sent it to me is that while I'm too scared to open the case and while I'm wondering what we're going to do for a banjo since we're supposed to play in about 15 minutes and calculating how I can come up with enough money to replace it with one of equal quality, he whips out his cell phone and starts taking pictures!!!

Joe,
This is an interesting variation on the forward roll. You put your truck in forward and roll over the banjo. I've actually had a few requests for this one, mostly from my ex-wife.

Dan, the fact that she's your EX wife makes me go "hmmmmmmm"
