Im the one on the screen right, 23 yrs old with a badge and gun and all of south Florida's woods and water to ramble in. It was very exciting to be a Game Warden in the late sixtys. first I rambled in a four wheel drive vehicle, then a boat because Lake Okeechobee was one of my responsibilitys, then I rambled in a j5 Piper cub then that Helicopter in the picture. Spent a few nights in Fakahatchie Strand, Turner river, Corkscrew swamp and a few other places where they raise skeeters that intimidate small hawks and other birds of prey.

I was in the National Guard and during Nam they didn't use National Guardsmen as much as regular Army and Draftees. I wanted to join the reg army while training troops in feild commo, then I saw a bulletin board at Gen De Orsa's office with a posting of missing in action and killed in action, this changed my mind, It turns out that some men that I helped train were on that list only 6 wks after leaving our school.
