I remember when this design came out I though it was tacky...now they are just too cool.

My banjo mentor was a big bowtie fan and I think his love of these banjos rubbed off on me. I remember him saying that the bowties were looked down on by some, but it seems that has changed somewhat with the passage of time. I spent many a lesson looking at and listening to his RB-250. They definitely have a unique sound, don't they?
