Photo fun fact (you probably know). Lake Lure is where a great part of the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed. It is beautiful, we visited a couple summers ago.

Yeah, we learned that during our trip. That was pretty cool. We enjoyed it so much we plan to go back again some time.

I thought I might run into you today. I spent a few hours at an auction in Taswell. I did pick up a banjo there, but let the fake gibson go to someone else.

Hey! I live just above chimney rock in Hendersonville.Its been my home for 33 yrs.its a very nice place to live too, when you make it back, take a ride up to MT Mitchell bout an 45 minutes north on the parkway.. highest mtn east of the miss, at about 6200 ft. well worth the ride. beautiful views the whole ride up too!
