i forgot to put the "Bushels" tea chest bass in the pic...
and next on the list is that longneck project with the bumpout bracket band we talked about. but ill have to let my missus get over the SS stewart the mountain banjo and you rebuilding the Electa all in 6 months... perhaps in a year or so

The S Yairi was the best classical guitar to come out of Japan. Spot on for tone and value.

mine was excellent value... i pulled it out of a skip bin! it honestly looked trashed but I climbed in anyway because of the tiny strip of marquetry on the bridge... i have never seen this before.. then inside i read hand made in japan so i knew it was 70s at least so i had it repaired...again (its had some big knocks and been repaired profesionaly at least twice now)... its real sleeper, looks like crap but nearly everyone who plays it asks if its for sale. had offers on it before  it even came out of the repair shop its shame i dont realy play it much  but i wont part with it. i intend my daughter to learn on it next year at highschool

stewart sounds great with nylguts Skip,after some fiddling i have a gorgous plunky ring with a voice from down the ages.
 I love it, my wife says she loves the sound of it, and seeing as she is my voice of reason, the one responsible for my buing the most expensive of the three in the first place... all is good on my little homestead
