I had one of these, but my Banjo is an Entry Level Banjo-my Dad bought for me in '71...and the neck isn't as WIDE as the Big Boys are, and also curves down sooner after the binding, so it didn't have a goodly surface to mount to, Which made the "presser downer" lay angled to the 5th. So, I removed it, and put spikes on it instead. A few of my pickin' Friends gave THEIRS BACK to me as well, and also had me put SPIKES on THEIR Banjos, too...
