Bought an aluminum pan at Goodwill for $3. A few minutes with a Sawzall, a metal-cutting bandsaw, and a few other tools gave me this. (Plus enough pan left over for several more banjii.) I'm hoping it's HEAVY enough to not deform, when the strings get tightened. Little grooves UNDER the fingers are designed so that each string will apparently "grow" from a finger.

Cool Mike, I want to see one giving the "Thumbs Up" next, or maybe a special "six fingered banjo player" model.
