twanger peg head or tuner end

Posted 12/7/2008 6:40:35 PM

i had some special scews laying around not sure where i got them, they have a hole thru the stem of the screw just like on tuners so i could wrap the strings as any instrument, only had 4 so just used a regular screw for one string. I wraped the string around then tide it back under and around and back to get it to hold, whatever works.

"Whatever works"!

And that, friends and neighbors, was the foundation of banjo making, for the first several thousand years of the history of the instrument. A tip of the Very Nice Hat to you, Mr. Laing.
