Not really reenactments, but 18th century camping. We call these gatherings "rendezvous", which come from the mountain man era. In the spring the the mountainmen from the Rocky Mtn. area would meet at a certain place as well as traders from St. Louis. This was called the Spring Rendezvous. They trade and sell their furs the from the past year of trapping and hunting, in order to get more supplies for the next year. We don't just portray the Fur Trade Era, but expanded to include 1740 to 1850. That way we portray the history of the Frenc&Indian War, the Revolution (in which Ohio and Kentucky have a rich history ).
