hi jon,
my musical pals and i do music demonstrations and i give a talk about the history of the banjo at least once a semester here at the college i work at. i usually have a few pictures to show the kids so they can see what i'm talking about (akonting, banza, tenor banjo, gourd banjo etc etc). one of the things at the end of the talk is the future of the banjo. today i was getting my notes all together and i realized i didn't have a picture for the future, then i thought of you and this picture. i hope you don't mind, i printed it off to show the kids. this picture is the future of the banjo for today's talk. it's a kickass picture too. i much prefer your electric banjo to mine (goldtone ebm).
