Do you have to be licensed to hunt Scott, and what do you do with the carcass? Does it get eaten?

Hi Scott. Have you ever heard of Ralph Huppert or Eric Huppert? They are cross bow hunters in Virginia and they're my cousins. Just wondering.

No hammeron I've never heard of them. This is his first year to hunt with a crossbow. In Pa. you have to have a special permit to use one. you have to have a disability. thanks for your interest.

Thanks Scott. My cousins have been into bow hunting for years and they started an organization in N. Virginia which involves thinning out the white tail populations. See http://www.swmnv.com/bowhunting_basics.htm.
Take care and enjoy that prize!

That's awesome! I know you are very proud of him...I 'm glad to see the father -son "hunting tradition" is still alive! Made my day...by the way, I may be a female, but I do know alittle bit about crossbows and getting a deer with one ain't easy...heck getting a deer with anything ain't easy! I can smell the tenderloin on the grill as we speak!
