Jeez. This so beautiful! What do they call that type of action going on in the wood? That is not "spalted" is it? Too cool.

That was one of the banjos I traded along the way. It sold to someone here on the BHI - but I don't remember who right now.
The neck was figured maple - but not the tight fiddle-back type. I don't know the proper term.
