1975 Nat. Banjo Champ Randal Morton on the left, me on the right, and the great and powerful former Bluegrass Boy, Rual Yarbrough in the middle. Randal and I stopped by to visit with Rual recently. Hes still recovering from heart surgery - but has some balance trouble and rarely plays the banjo these days. But he is a wealth of stories for sure. Any of you that know Rual and are close enough to Florence, AL (northwest corner of the state) should pay him a visit -- he enjoys it --

Hi Rual, hope You get better, I used to see You many times in the 70's., I bought a Cass. tape from You back then, But it broke, I don't remember the tittle, But it had the tune (WHEN YOUR SMILLING) on it, If You have that on record to sell I would sure like to buy it, I always thought Your pickin was way ahead of most of the other pickers,, THANKS.
