I'll be visiting Jerry & Joan in March while attending a reunion in Pigeon Forge and already looking forward to meeting them.

Well visited the Pottery again and sure as shootin Joanie and Jerry were playing. Just as good as ever, I asked her to play my newest banjo (VEGA) old time wonder and she made it sound like it just came from heaven. Her playing and singing along is....well you just gotta get there to hear and see them..

Hi Greg
I thought we would be in Gatlinburg this spring, wife wants to be there when the mountain laurel's in bloom, also the rhododendron.
So far she hasn't done anything about it , we may be going to the shore in June instead.
Then we just might make it in Sept. I love the Townsend old time fair, so that's an option.
Have a great time when your there...we do.
Jim

Did not make it to the TN side in 2012
Went to the N.C. side, took a ride on the Smoky MT RR, it was nice as was exploring the small villages on that side.
Wife & I both decided we will only return to the TN side of the Smokies again, we just prefer the happenings there.
Maybe this fall again in 2013, I'll bring banjo along, maybe even get to play along with some one..
Happy days everyone
