Here is my setting for a real ragtimey version of this classic tune, which can be played as a march, two-step, polka and cakewalk. Notice all the ragtime syncopation in measures 3, 7,8,11, 14, 15, and on the final G chord at the end of the B Section. The ragtime and bluesy versions are very close, with the bluesy version being slightly more bluegrassy (Scruggsy). Both use a combination of single-string (2-finger) and melodic (3-finger) techniques.
