Silver Spring going to Beaux Arts Ball 1970s. The Beaux Art Ball was an artsy event, scheduled around Halloween as I recall, and lots of interesting people showed up, an ocean of freaks in costume. It was held at the Pender Ballroom (or Auditorium) in Vancouver, B.C.
