Reed is a legend!
He was an absolute gentleman to me when I was a naive tourist trying to get to as many oldtime festivals as I could.
I was travelling around USA with almost no money, a bicycle, a banjo and a tent in 2000.
He was worried about my travelling plans as my bicycle had just broken down so ...he bought a bike rack and set me up with a lift from Frederick to Asheville with some friendly oldtime music fans and asked nothing for it.
The sort of good will that is hard to forget!
Please give him my regards.
all the best, Fred
ps. Love your version of Greasy Coat and good luck with the Album!
