Hey Paul, I'm a Newbie and you sent me one of those friend request things. Normally I wouldn't want to be a friend with someone who has such thick facial stubble. I distrust people with high levels of male hormone. However, if you're really in Oslo I have to be your friend. Scandinavians rule. My sister-in-law is Finnish, and I love her family (still in Helsinki) and the Scandinavian sensibilities. And I notice John Hartford is on your favorites list. First time I heard him in person, I went out and bought a banjo. Haven't bothered to learn how to play it until some 30 years later. If you've been playing since 2007 and you're "purty good," you're either a bullshitter or your major instrument is something else. Now pray for snow in the upper mid west so I can strap on those cross country skiis.
