Good weather, beautiful scenery and .... .BANJOS. Now the vacation's complete. Wayne Holcombe was kind enough to stop by and show me a few things on the banjo. He had a beautiful 88 Gibson that felt really good. He knew a lot of tunes and he had a ton of information about the who's and what's of everything banjo. I'd ask him if he knew a song, and not only would he know it, but he usually gave me the history behind the tune, who's played it and who copyrighted it etc... It was a real treat for him to stop by

Dude, I've been know to go to Lake George, too. A friend's got a house on basin bay (I think it's like Rattlesnake Point or something). Looks like it may be near where you were.
