This was taken Oct. 14 2006 at the annual Pine Barrens Jamboree. This is the group I play in, Rustic Rhythms. Actually, the band was a mix of non-traditional instruments that afternoon. We don't have a drummer in the band, but that day we let him join us. The set we did was a lot of traditional country, hence the electric guitar (who rarely joins us). Our mandolin player was absent this day. That's me on the left, with "Homer", my banjer (a Homer Ledford custom curly maple). That evening, we played a solid country set at our local music hall, so instead of my banjo, I played my Dobro.
