Looks very similar to one of our boats down here, the "Carolina Skiff".

I'm familiar with them. They're very popular up here as well. A good friend of mine has owned a 17' Carolina skiff for about 10 years now and I've spent quite a bit of time fishing off of it in the past. It was because of that boat that I was confident in buying this one. It's a 14' but bare hull to bare hull I like this one better than the equivalent Carolina skiff.
