Tom Hanway |
This was before a session in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, commemorating Donal's mother Mary, who had nine children. Donal played bouzouki while I played banjo. Our first tune together was 'Carolan's Concerto'. With Frank Lunny (flute) we played jigs, reels and hornpipes and I sang a few.
